Our
special offering for September is Lutheran Disaster Relief. There are envelopes in the pew racks or
you may mail in a contribution, marked Lutheran Disaster Relief. Current projects may be tracked from the
ELCA website
www.elca.org follow the link to disaster response under our-faith-in-action. Recent projects
have been the tornadoes and flooding in the mid-West and the Gulf oil spill.

If you were confirmed
between the years 1965 - 1969, the Third Sunday fellowship hour on September 19 is
especially for you!

Acolytes and Crucifers: Please check the schedule, and if you cannot be in church, please find a
substitute. Call the church office by Tuesday of the previous week, so we may have the correct names in
the bulletin.

TRANSPORTATION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Boyertown Area Multi-Service is in need of volunteers to transport individuals in our community to medical
appointments. Mileage reimbursement is available upon request. For more information, please call
610-367-6957.

The Youth Group is sponsoring the
Paper Recycling bin that we have on the grounds beside the chapel.
There is a list of things that they accept and don't accept
on this link, and on the bulletin board downstairs.

The Flower and Bulletin charts are posted. Cost for sponsorship of flowers is $28 and for bulletins $16.

FAIR TRADE COFFEE AND TEA is still available next to the library on the first floor. A box will be available
where you can deposit the right amount of money. Until the box is in place, you can use an envelope and
place your money in the offering plate. These items make a great Christmas gift and you will be helping
provide growers in third world countries get a fair price for their products. If you have any questions or
requests, please contact Jane Leeser.
